Deborah joined Sainsbury’s in 2007 as Head of Internal Communications. She also held senior positions in HR and engagement where she sought new ways to gain insight about employees, developing different approaches to increasing their affection for and loyalty to the organisation. In particular she led a number of initiatives to drive share of voice and engagement of young people at Sainsbury’s.
In 2014 Deborah was appointed Head of Talent & Performance. Prior to joining Sainsbury’s, Deborah was Client Services Director in communication and engagement consultancies, working with large organisations to deliver change and improve effectiveness through their people.
