BeAnna Davis

Member of the Race for Opportunity Youth Advisory Panel. A group of young people aged between 16 & 24 years old chosen to work with Race for Opportunity to find solutions to the challenges of unemployment and progression.

Beanna Davies

BeAnna graduated with a MPhys BSc in Physics from Warwick University in 2012 and is currently working at Legal & General as an Actuarial Analyst, whilst studying for the actuarial exams.

She is a co-founder of the non-profit organisation, Young Black Graduates, which provides a platform for students, graduates and entrepreneurs to network, and share opportunities and experiences so that individuals and the community can develop, grow and excel.

BeAnna joined the panel because she wants to challenge the way that businesses think about youth unemployment, and their current initiatives regarding employment and experience opportunities, particularly for those nearing the school-leaving age, as she feels there is a gap in the level of expectations that employers and young people hold of each other at this age. BeAnna hopes that the work of the panel and board will leave a long lasting impression in increasing diversity in the workplace and in reducing youth unemployment in the short, and most importantly, long term.
