Race Equality Cross Organisation Mentoring Circles Introduction Event

Time: to

Venue:
London - full details confirmed on booking EC4N

This event will bring together all mentors and mentees of the sixth cohort of BITC's Race Campaign Cross Organisational Mentoring Circles to support progression, unlock talent and impact BAME under-representation at senior levels.

In the UK today, one in 10 employed people are BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic), yet only one in 16 of top management positions and one in 13 management positions are held by BAME people1. This programme aims to provide mentoring to BAME employees from partner organisations, in order to support progression, unlock talent and impact BAME under-representation at senior levels.

The purpose of this event is to familiarise mentees with their respective mentors as this will be the first time they will be meeting. The programme will have an emphasis on interactive group work.

Due to the popularity of the programme we are going to split the event into two sessions, with attendees joining either the morning or afternoon events. Both sessions will see approximately 100-125 delegates in a sitting.

Morning session
Registration opens at 9am with formal proceedings starting at 9.30am and finishing at 11.30am. Light refreshments will be served.

Afternoon session
Networking lunch will be served from 12.30, with formal proceedings beginning at 1pm and finishing at 3pm.
